Thom DePaulo
Thom is the President and a managing partner of Meridian Insurance Agency, LLC. Thom began his insurance career in 1992 after working for many years in corporate as an accountant and Director of Finance. Thom started with Meridian Insurance Agency in 1994 by merging his small family insurance business. As Vice President he oversaw the insurance operations and managed the growth until 2008 when Meridian Insurance Agency was acquired into the Boyd Insurance Group. Thom is very active in the insurance industry in Massachusetts, holding seats on the Agency Advisory Council for Mass Property Insurance and the MAIA Legislative Committee. Thom specializes in commercial lines, primarily small and mid-market accounts. He prides himself on the ability to retain long term customer accounts by carefully building and maintaining strong relationships between his agency, staff and customers. "Many of my customers today were customers of my parents, and helped put me through college.... now it's my turn to give back." Thom also works very hard as an advocate in the community and for the Boston Public School System where his children attend.

Elena Wilson
Elena is a personal lines customer service representative. She joined Meridian Insurance Agency in 2001. Elena came to Meridian Insurance after working in several different jobs, her primary career being to raise her family. Elena is a long time resident of East Boston. We value the years Elena has resided in East Boston as it lends sound knowledge of the community, and is very helpful in the challenges of writing personal lines in an urban market. Elena is very driven to help our customers and prides herself on her motto "You have a friend in me at Meridian Insurance Agency."
